Leadership
Training at CMAG fosters leadership and personal development through discipline, self-control, and perseverance, while also providing opportunities for mentoring and assisting others as students progress.
Our members gain far more than physical training and self-defence skills; we are dedicated to cultivating strong leaders. We actively instil essential life skills and qualities, including: - resilience, respect, goal setting, and focus.
These skills are not optional side effects of our training; they are embedded in our curriculum. Further, with the belief we can only excel at what we practice, and with responsibility comes adventure students are identified with promising attributes and provided with leadership roles at the club.
Such leadership roles and responsibilities include meeting and greeting new members, leading class learning, one to one mentoring, assistant coaching and eventually to coaching their own class. This approach ensures that students intentionally develop these crucial attributes, both physically and mentally.
